GreenTech completed its first video documentary in January 2012. Videographer Ian Wiggins from UK worked tightly with the management of GreenTech, collecting and editing film material over more than two months to summarise GreenTech’s endeavour successfully in 10 minutes.
The video does not only describe GreenTech’s production of groundnutshell briquettes and fuel efficient stoves, but also sensitises on the background and purposes, including the opportunities to use these products to contribute to sustainable development, mitigate climate change and improve livelihoods. After all, GreenTech’s innovative cooking does not only save trees and emissions, but also saves the users time, efforts and finances with special benefit for the women and children.
The video has been uploaded on the internet and is also available as DVD on request. A one minute version is just in production.
